Outside of the office, Dr. Bacsik has a busy schedule as the CEO of her household. Dr. Bacsik loves to spend time with her husband, Mike, and 3 children. You will find her most Saturdays cheering on her boys from the bleachers or visiting her daughter in Austin. She also enjoys running, gardening and going to dinner with friends. She loves to travel and see the world but her favorite place to be is watching the sunrise on her parent’s front porch in Glen Rose or reading a book on her front porch in Oak Cliff.
Beth Keyes MD
Board Certified Pediatrician
“I believe the old African proverb, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ accurately describes my thoughts on parenthood. Being a part of that village is the reason I love being a pediatrician. The highlight of my job is partnering with families to help raise and nurture their children. I enjoy seeing these kids grow, learn, and mature into young adults. I also feel honored when parents trust me to walk alongside their families during times of sickness, injury, or other difficult situations. To me, my vocation in medicine is a calling to serve.”
Dr. Keyes grew up in Tomball, Texas, near Houston. After completing high school, Dr. Keyes attended Baylor University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2001, with a BS in Biochemistry. She then attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and graduated with her Medical Doctorate in 2006. She completed her residency at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and served as Chief Resident from 2009-2010.
Upon completion of her residency, she began her medical career in West Dallas at Los Barrios Unidos, serving that community for 5 years. Following her time in West Dallas, she practiced in Arlington for 3 years and then almost 4 years in Desoto, TX at Pediatrics Southwest. Excited to work and serve in her own neighborhood, she joined Oak Cliff Pediatrics in 2021.
Dr. Keyes is a Board-Certified pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She has been married for 20 years to Wes, who is the Executive Director of Brother Bills Helping Hand in West Dallas. Dr. Keyes is a proud mother of two lovely children, Sarah and Liam. Sarah attends Bishop Dunne Catholic School. She enjoys being on the dance team, playing soccer for Bayern Munich South, and all things baking and cooking. Liam attends the Kessler School in Oak Cliff and loves all things superhero, Legos, Star Wars, dinosaurs, and playing football and baseball. Dr. Keyes and her family reside in the Winnetka Heights neighborhood here in Oak Cliff.
Christine Glasow MD
Board Certified Pediatrician
Dr. Glasow is happy to be caring for children in her own neighborhood of Oak Cliff! After growing up in San Antonio, Texas, she moved to Austin where she obtained her BA in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin. She then spent a year in research before moving to Houston where she acquired her medical degree at UT Houston Medical School. She then completed a pediatric residency at Washington University/St. Louis Children’s Hospital in 2010 followed by a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Emory University/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in 2013. Following her training, Dr. Glasow returned to Texas and spent 10 years practicing as a pediatric cardiologist before joining Oak Cliff Pediatrics.
As a mother to her own two young children, Dr. Glasow is grateful for the opportunity to practice close to home. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
When she’s not in clinic, Dr. Glasow’s family is her greatest joy. She feels blessed to be married to her husband, Steve, with whom she shares a son and daughter. Their household is always busy and rarely quiet with two dogs and a cat in the home as well. Dr. Glasow spends most weekends chasing her toddler son and daughter around the yard with her husband or walking the dogs around the neighborhood with the family in tow. She also loves going for runs through the neighborhood, baking cookies with the “help” of her toddlers and going out for the occasional meal to one of their favorite neighborhood restaurants.
When they’re not at home, Dr. Glasow and her family are usually visiting relatives around Texas or escaping the heat to her favorite spot in Colorado.
When it comes to our children, Dr. Glasow understands firsthand that maintaining their health is one of the key aspects of a child’s growth and development. She feels incredibly lucky to be able to provide pediatric care for the families of Oak Cliff and the surrounding neighborhoods.
