Dr. Beth Keyes, MD
Board Certified Pediatrician
“I believe the old African proverb, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ accurately describes my thoughts on parenthood. Being a part of that village is the reason I love being a pediatrician. The highlight of my job is partnering with families to help raise and nurture their children. I enjoy seeing these kids grow, learn, and mature into young adults. I also feel honored when parents trust me to walk alongside their families during times of sickness, injury, or other difficult situations. To me, my vocation in medicine is a calling to serve.”
Dr. Keyes grew up in Tomball, Texas, near Houston. After completing high school, Dr. Keyes attended Baylor University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2001, with a BS in Biochemistry. She then attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and graduated with her Medical Doctorate in 2006. She completed her residency at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and served as Chief Resident from 2009-2010.
Upon completion of her residency, she began her medical career in West Dallas at Los Barrios Unidos, serving that community for 5 years. Following her time in West Dallas, she practiced in Arlington for 3 years and then almost 4 years in Desoto, TX at Pediatrics Southwest. Excited to work and serve in her own neighborhood, she joined Oak Cliff Pediatrics in 2021.
Dr. Keyes is a Board-Certified pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She has been married for 20 years to Wes, who is the Executive Director of Brother Bills Helping Hand in West Dallas. Dr. Keyes is a proud mother of two lovely children, Sarah and Liam.
